Amidst a cluster of the assorted lush trees One stood out as the most unique Half of its barren branches black and burnt out The other half in their full glory and lustre Trunk stood firm, roots strong Nothing was taken away in a way The contrast seemed to enhance its beauty instead What had caused the trauma?
